Through a lot of practice. I know the answer sounds simple and unsatisfying, but there are no tricks or shortcuts. Since childhood I have been drawing almost daily and as I
mentioned in the 'About me' section, I have drawn a lot. From the television, from books and my role models. I didn't attend an art school, I taught myself everything. I compared my works with
those of more advanced artists and looked at what I could still improve. What also served me as a good support to learn the basics were 'How to draw' books on different topics like anatomy, manga
etc. But nothing works without hard practice! I never gave up, even if there were times when I was very unhappy with my drawings. So keep picking up the pen again and again! : )

I have been using Copic Markers for about 13 years now. My repertoire also includes pigment liners from various brands (Deleter, Copic, Sakura Pigma), but I don't have any
favourites among them, because they all do a good job. Besides, opaque white is a real miracle tool for all sorts of things, like correcting small mistakes or setting highlights!

I used to use 'Hahnemühle' marker paper for years. For me it worked for a long time, but at some point, I felt I couldn't get the results I wanted. So I tried more paper types and
brands, including Deleter's 'Comic Book Kent Paper' and even regular copy paper. However, my current favourite is the sketchbook by Maruman Artspiral, which is unfortunately not (yet) available
here and so I have it imported. Anyway, I make my most recent works in this sketchbook.

I use the sketchbook of Maruman Artspiral, although markers bleed out on it. I learned how to handle this paper through a lot of practice and now I can deal with it very well. So
you have to practice it diligently and "get to know" the medium in order to achieve good results later on. Of course, this applies to every medium : )

It all depends on whether I'm drawing for fun or working on a larger project. For example, when I'm working on a manga or artbook, I sit at my desk all day long for several weeks
and draw into the night. I take breaks from time to time and sleep in between, but I hardly ever leave the house during that time.

For my Egyptian gods, I use the Copic Markers E70 (Ash Rose), E71 (Champagne), E74 (Cocoa Brown) and E77 (Maroon). Then I like to use the combination of E21 (Soft Sun), E13 (Light
Suntan) and E15 (Dark Suntan). Furthermore, I like to use the skin colours E50 (Egg Shell), E11 (Barley Beige) and E43 (Dull Ivory).

If this accident happens, then you should keep calm and consider how you can correct the mishap. I use the Colorless Blender from Copic, to correct bled out areas again. Gently
walk over these areas with the brush tip until the colour is blurred so that you can hardly see it after drying. This method works best with light colours. But dark colours can also be "erased"
with this technique. You need some experience for this, so just try it out on a piece of paper beforehand. If the colour bleeds out into an area that should remain white at the end, you can also
cover it with opaque white. If the bleeding happens far too often, then you should make your works on other paper in the future. Just try out a few stamps to find out what works best for you. It
doesn't have to be expensive.
